Why Do Mortgage Lenders Hate America?

Caveat Emptor! “This mortgage crisis will go down in history as more financially significant than Wall Street’s “Black Monday” in 1987, the Long-Term Capital Management disaster of 1998, any of the massive international currency crisis’ in the last 20 years… it will be even more financially destructive than the Sept. 11 attacks.” Reference sources include: -5 Min. Mr Banker lies to you when he tells you that (1) YOU should trust HIM when (2) HE says HIS home is YOUR best investment because (3) YOU can afford HIS costs on HIS home, so (4) when you pay HIM what HE says YOU can afford for HIS home, YOU own HIS home, and (5) when YOU can’t afford HIS ever-increasing payments, HE won’t be mad at YOU, because HE doesn’t even want foreclose on YOU to take HIS home back! So, HE shouldn’t be angry with YOU when YOU lie to HIM, and BURN THAT FUCKER TO THE GROUND!

“Superfly Pipe Dream” Reality is something

@speciesamused My mother and father are the same as you. Bought what they could afford. People these days are living in what I call the “Superfly Pipe Dream”
Buying and living on a lifestyle that they can’t afford exept with credit.
Feel’s good being free from debt I assume? Be proud you are something to be copied

  5. badmuffy says on :

I think the problem is that instead of addressing the real problem which is that there is no living wage in this country they made these dumb programs to lend poor people money which of course they couldn’t pay back.

We bought and paid for our house in 15 years. It was a house we could AFFORD and I read for months on what we needed to know as it is the biggest purchase of your life, for us normal peps. So this is our fault too. But these companies feed on the weak who have the American dream of a home for their family. Yes it is an unregulated free for all bought and sold by corporations. Now the King is covering for them. Knowledge is power take the time to learn and watch your butt:) Excellent Frank.

Portraying the only options as unregulated Capitalism and Soviet style Communism is pure demogoguery
Come back when you aquire some actual ideas, maturity, and understanding of history…
Otherwise STFU and troll somewhere else…

Comrade Obama will become President and his Socialist policies will provide financial stability and great housing for the population,..just like it did in the Soviet Union!

    Big Government works great!

Bubbles bursting is the the free market “correcting” itself
Just like mass famine is a form of overpopulation “correcting” itself
Those who advocate unrestrained capitalism care nothing about the suffering of large numbers of people, their wealth is more important to them

  22. Weaseldog2001 says on :

Free markets have never corrected themselves. They have always devolved.

But like we say every business quarter, “This time is different.”

I’ve got a bubble to sell. This one is different.

  23. Weaseldog2001 says on :

Con men always appeal to greed.

People love to be screwed, so long as their greed and vanity are stroked.

  24. blair227 says on :

All very true, this morning a guy said it would be sad if Obama won because the rich would have to sacrifice their un-needed tax cuts,I told him it was about time they did something other than put a yellow ribbon on their Hummer that maybe gets 4-6MPG.He stopped commenting after that.

  25. skhan1943 says on :

    blair227; “Don’t forget Hoovervilles,and soup kitchens.”

Hoovervilles and soup kitchens were Depression era fixtures, blair227.

During the Gilded Age (late 19th – early 20th Century) soup kitchens were never provided. Kind of like today, the attitude was: “fend for yourselves, you lazy bastards”.
